Fashion of the Future!
What we will be (or should have been) wearing by the year 2000! Fascinating predictions, most of which I can completely get behind:
-Outfits with zip off sleeves and skirts? Sure!
-Saran wrap bridal veil? Why not?
-Flash light attached to your head? Who isn't doing that these days?
-Women actually wearing pants? Well who would have thought?
Unacceptable, however, is future man with his devilish facial hair...)

Bela Borsodi
Not sure why or where I found Bela Borsodi's stuff, but looking through it the other day, I immediately remembered why I bookmarked the site a while back.

I'm probably going to post a couple photo sets from his portfolio because they're so inspirational- it seems like fashion magazines tend to photograph accessories in the most boring, average way. Borsodi, however, really manages to go so far out of the box that you can't remember what a cube even looked like....
Go sift through his site and be inspired.
(This set is called 'shoezoo')

Katy Horan
Katy Horan calls these paintings 'Lady Monsters'. They're gorgeous, intricate, and moody.

Collage per Day, #5
(I didn't intend that huge grease smudge.. it was from a cookie I was eating... but you know... cookies kind of surprise you with what they're capable of sometimes, don't they?)

Sam Taylor Wood
Sam Taylor Wood has a new photography book coming out at the end of the month called Birth of a Clown; close-ups of clown makeup painted on eggs, which, while naturally sounding unbelievable, seems like a drastic turn for her.
Here are some of my past favorites:

Collage per Day, #3 & #4
Two more, just to catch up, then I'll cool it with the bulk collages and go back to one per day...

Thomas started doing a collage per day. I'm joining him. Here are two to make up for my late start.

Heartichoke
Thomas and I brushed up on our modeling/styling techniques not too long ago. I'm sure many jobs will come of this. What, you ask, is going on here? Figure it out at heartichoke. (And if you figure it out, will you please let me know...)

Stephanie di Guisto
I hadn't watched any of her videos before, but was pretty mesmerized with her collection once I got started. This is the most recent:

The 5000 Fingers of Dr. T
Did you know Dr. Suess wrote a musical in the late 50s? Super fun costumes and production design. Here's a song for all the fashionistas out there. (My favorite look? Oh those acid green shorts, yellow knee-high socks, and lilac tshirt just do it for me!)

My Favorite Sartorialist Subject
Is it possible? Have I narrowed it down to just one? No. Not really. But I'm pretty sure someone out there (besides myself) would appreciate the cumulative look at all of Scott Schuman's 'Alessandra' pictures. Let's all try to flip through these before we get dressed in the morning...
