Metropolis

Sometimes, when you have really high hopes for a movie, it never manages to live up to those expectations. Well, my hopes were pretty high based solely on Metropolis' incredible trailer. Low and behold, though, it went above and beyond anything I ever expected. Visually, this is such an inspiring film. Also so motivational- the ingenuity and coordination Fritz Lang undertook in order to make this epic during the 20s is astounding.  Heck, the new website is even pretty neat....
